is seeking bids from Class A General Contractors for the renovation of Cypress
Terrace Apartments. Bid packages, plans, and drawings may be obtained by

245-2144, by picking up at 227 27th Street, Newport News, VA or by e-mailing fparker@nnrha.org.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held on March 19, 2008 at 10:00
a.m. in the Cypress Terrace Recreation Center located at 25 Teardrop Lane, Newport
News, VA.

ADDENDUM NO. 3
CYPRESS TERRACE REHABILITATION
Due Date and Time: APRIL 15, 2008 AT 2:00 P.M.
This addendum is a part of the contract document and modifies the original bid document as noted below. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on this form and return with the original bid package. Failure to do so may subject the bidder to be deemed non-responsive.
- Sheet TS1:
Remove “USE GROUP R-5” under the Project Summary and replace with “USE GROUP R-2” in all instances.
Remove “IRC 2003” under Applicable Building Codes and Regulations and replace with “IBC 2003”.
Remove “ANSI A117.1” under Applicable Building Codes and Regulations and replace with “ANSI A117.1, 2003”.
- Sheet A4:
Remove note call-out “21” from the second floor bedrooms and hallway and replace with note call-out “20”.
- Sheet A6:
Add a vertical hand grab bar in the handicap two bedroom apartments as shown in the attached drawing.
- Specification Section 15400:
Delete specification Section 15400 – Plumbing, General Purpose, and add attached Section 15400 – Plumbing, General Purpose.
